Be a student at RCC or a student at a neigboring institution.

Code of Conduct

To ensure that the ACM AI Hackathon is a safe, welcoming, and productive space for everyone, all participants are expected to follow these guidelines while on campus and in the event venue:

 

  1. Respect Others
    Treat all participants, mentors, and organizers with courtesy. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

  2. Collaboration & Integrity
    Collaboration is encouraged, but plagiarism or misrepresenting another’s work as your own is prohibited. Build honestly, and give credit where credit is due.

  3. Safe Environment
    Keep the lab and work areas clean, respect the facilities, and follow any posted safety instructions. Do not tamper with equipment or attempt activities that could cause harm to yourself or others.

  4. Inclusivity
    We welcome students of all skill levels. Be supportive of beginners and foster an environment where everyone can learn and contribute.

  5. Professional Conduct
    Behave in a way that reflects positively on RCC and the hackathon community. Inappropriate language, offensive jokes, or hostile behavior are not acceptable.

  6. Reporting Issues
    If you experience or witness any violation of this Code of Conduct, please notify an organizer immediately. All reports will be handled respectfully and discreetly.
